Agreement to Terms
By engaging ClearStack Dev for services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before starting a project.
Services
ClearStack Dev provides web development, custom software development, and related digital services. Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing are defined in individual project proposals.
Project Process
Proposals and Agreements
Each project begins with a written proposal outlining scope, timeline, and cost. Work begins after you approve the proposal and pay any required deposit.
Revisions and Changes
Projects include reasonable revisions as defined in the proposal. Significant scope changes may require a change order with adjusted timeline and cost.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide necessary content, images, and feedback in a timely manner
- Review and approve work at designated milestones
- Pay invoices according to agreed terms
Payment Terms
Standard payment terms are 50% deposit to begin, 50% upon completion. Specific terms are outlined in each proposal. Late payments may result in project delays or additional fees.
Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, you receive ownership of the custom work created for your project. I retain the right to display the work in my portfolio unless otherwise agreed.
Warranties and Liability
I warrant that delivered work will function as described in the proposal for 30 days after delivery. Beyond this warranty period, ongoing support is available through maintenance agreements.
Liability is limited to the amount paid for services. I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Termination
Either party may terminate a project with written notice. If you terminate, payment is due for all work completed. If I terminate, any unused deposit will be refunded.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.
